Solomon's Star Expansion Method

Tarot 33

One of the most complex tarot arrays is the Star of Solomon expansion method. This array is not suitable for beginners. What’s so difficult about it? It will use up all the Major Arcana Twenty. The steps for the two main cards are a bit cumbersome and can easily confuse beginners. Next, let’s take a look at how to expand the Star of Solomon.

1. Scope of application

Ask about love, friendship, studies, and career

2. Arrangement method

First follow the general procedures of shuffling and cutting the cards, and then get a stack of cards face down. Turn the stack of cards over so the cards are face up.

The next step is to find the "World" card. If the first card on the card is not the world, turn it over and place the card face down on the right hand side. Find them one by one until the world appears. Please note: The checked cards must still be stacked face down in order.

After finding the world, place the world card face down on the checked card stack. Then, place the seven cards immediately following the world at positions "1" to "7" in order according to the diagram. This arrangement does not turn over the cards, so just place the cards face up.

Maybe you will have a situation where there are not enough cards following the world. At this time, you need to turn over the card stack you just checked, let the cards face up, and then start from the top card. Zhang started to pick up and made up seven cards.

After the first seven cards are positioned, starting from the eighth, stack eight to fourteen cards in the lower right corner of the seven cards just now (as shown in the picture above). Just like before, if you have no cards in your hand, you must pick up the stack of cards you have checked, face up, and make up the cards starting from the first one. Of course, if you have just picked up the cards and stacked them, continue to fill them now.

Usually after the fourteenth card, you should have already picked up the cards and stacked them. Therefore, the fifteen to twenty-one cards in the third round are continued to be added and stacked in the lower right corner of the cards in the second round.

When all the cards are placed, you should see a three-layer star pattern, all with the cards face up. There should be only one card left in your hand, "The World," which represents the querent himself. Place this card in front of the querent, with the front facing her/him (if you are guessing for yourself, put the front of the card facing yourself)

3. The meaning of the tablet positions

There are seven positions for the Star of Solomon. There are three cards in each position. The meaning of each position is:

Represents the current actual status of the problem.

It is an upcoming event.

Represents the questioner’s expectations and desires for the question.

It is the fate of this question.

Represents possible accidents.

Represents an enemy that the querent is unaware of.

Represents a person’s true inner motivation for the problem.

When interpreting card patterns, the meaning of each position must be interpreted based on the meaning of the three cards in that position.
